Is it possible for the WUs become corrupted? I have two that have been running for 21 and 27 hours. The progress is 1.00% for both, and To Completion 2700+ and 2100+ hours. I'm using Rosetta 4.77 on Windows Server 2003 with Intel Xeon processors. Is this possible? The cpu benchmarks are as follows: Number of CPUs: 4 1386 double precision MIPS per CPU 1659 integer MIPS per CPU It's probably worth noting that all but one of the other WUs I tried to do ended with Client Error. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/results.php?hostid=3503 |

This "runaway WU" problem has been reported by others as well. I believe the primary developer will be looking at it when he returns from a vacation. For now, abort those WUs and get some new ones. Proudly Banned from Predictator@Home and now Cosmology@home as well. Added SETI to the list today. Temporary ban only - so need to work harder :) "You can't fix stupid" (Ron White) |
