Well Time to start a new one, stops some editing and stop me having to wait 4 days for the thread to load :D Sounds lovely, FC. I will have a very non-christmasy christmas (no tree, no roast dinner) but there will be presents and children dressed in mini-santa suits...lol we will go out and play in the ball and baloon pool at the local department store, maybe plan a slightly special dinner. Right on FC. That first Christmas is always fun as they have no clue of what's going on so it's still time for mom and dad to enjoy. Next year all you'll see is wrapping paper flying around like a tasmanian devil is opening the presents =) Sounds pretty mellow Todd as well as very quaint. I hope your family has a great time hanging out. Legman, I totally understand where you are coming from with actually being able to get a lot of work done, but damn! That sucks man. Working on Christmas blows like the summer breeze as far as I'm concerned. I had to do it three years in a row when I worked at HP. Didn't like it. I will be heading over to my mom's house to hang out with the fam. Cousins, uncles etc. will be gathering to eat a very non-Christmas lunch. I have to say that I'm kinda bummed about that as I love to eat good food and the thought of having croissant sandwhiches is kinda depressing. The wife, daughter and I will have a Christmas dinner on X-eve to make up for it though. Should be a kick! Happy Holidays to everyone! If you cant say something nice, say something vague. And if you can't think of something vague, then shut the hell up! =) |

This Christmas is going to be busy for me. Hmm I have to backup a few days to start it. Thursday 12/8 started drinking at about 5 with friends and did not stop until about 3am (was supposed to be stopping around 10, LOL) Saturday 12/10, had to work from 7 to noon (waaaaaa) but then got to start drinking with a different group of friends from noon to about 2am. Thursday 12/15 started drinking at noon (hehe had to leave work for an appointment to get my "Shots", drank until 3, drove to a party, drank until about 5:30, drove with victims from Party 1 and 2 to party 3 that started at 6:00, met a HOT 21 year old, drank until about 2, had lots of fun with said 21 year old. Friday, met 21 year old again (Figured, in the spirit of Christmas, I should be in a giving mood, hehe) Saturday 12/17 did Christmas with immediat famile (pain in the butt) then went to party at friends house, drank from 10pm to 3am. Now future plans, This thursday, one more boute of drinking with the guys, Friday, might hang out with family of one of the girls I am dating, Saturday have to hang out with family on mom's side (not looking forward to this), and finally Sunday get to hang out with the family on my Dad's side. Basically, I am looking forward to Sunday and maybe thursday. My body is not happy with me for drinking my ass off basically 3 weeks straight. Not something I normally do. Hehehehe, sorry for the long drawn out "what are you doing" response, but I was explaining to my boss why I look tired at the same time I was typing this up. LOL |

Funny thing is, Thursdays are usually a light drinking night with some of my friends with wives and kids. But a light night of drinking is something like 1 pitcher per person when everything is said and done. These last few weeks have hurt. And I am no stranger to a night out drinking hard. Dont do it all the time, but usually a few times a year sounds about right. I think I have drank more in the last 2 or so weeks then I did the rest of the entire year. And I still have new years comming up, ;) |
