Is there,or could there be,a way to opt out of CASP?
My LAN,and probably many others,is simply not well suited for fast return times. I have a 12 hour run time and a 1 day queue of work. Add in the time for generating and distributing the work plus uploading and reporting it once done. The chances of any particular w/u making deadline are nearly zero.
Please understand that I fully applaud the intent of CASP,but it's not for every system

What deadline does those WUs have? The two of your computers I checked have turn around times of about 30 hours, so there should not be any issues with the standard 10 day deadline.

Can you point to a WU, which deadline you (almost) missed?

No way that I'm aware of, but the work will still be useful if it's submitted after the deadline, and you'll still get credit for it. The CASP competition is over, so I believe they're refining the modelling used following the release of the results/actual structures.

Stick with it if you can!

Hmmm... It seems I've misunderstood CASP requirements. I thought there was a 48-hour turnaround required. My apologies. Is there a thread that lists the needs and objectives of CASP?

C.A.S.P.10 is over, see/read the Rosetta@home Science forum.
