Hello all, I'm interested in setting up Rosetta@home via BAM!'s weak authenticator. I've searched around on the message boards here, and on the Web, but it doesn't seem like this has been brought up before (if it has please link me to the relevant information). It doesn't look like Rosetta@home supports weak authentication, as such BAM! doesn't seem to be able to connect to the project in this manner. Is there any chance on getting this added as a feature? Or is there a reason why Rosetta@home has chosen not to support this? Thank you! Daemox |

I believe weak authentication was added to the BOINC server code after the version that R@h currently is running. But I also thought people were able to use BAM to manage their projects and connect with R@h. Perhaps someone that's used BAM could shed some light for daemox. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

I appreciate the insight Mod.Sense. If R@h is running the older version of the server software, is there a rough estimate on when this might be updated in the future just so I can keep this in mind? Otherwise, I'll stand by to see if anyone else has any thoughts on the matter. Take care! Daemox |
