I am new to BOINC and am having issues getting the Rosetta@home project to work. It downloads the info fine but when it begins working, I get a computation error. I have removed the project and installed it a few time, however, I get the same result.

I have another project running as well, it's the SETI@home project. It is working fine. I get some computation errors with it as well, but it has several jobs and continues to work down the list. With Rosetta, I only get one job and it gets that error and there is not any other job for it to work on.

Any information that will help me to get this project working would be appreciated.

Welcome to Rosetta@home!

It looks like you're running the 7.0.25 boinc client (the most recent release version). We're currently experiencing some issues with that version (see this thread)- a number of people are getting intermittent errors with that version, so it's nothing you're doing. We're looking into the problem.

I'm getting the same result and running the same version. I just set it to "no new tasks" for now so i'm not wasting cycles on it. When a solution has been found, or after some time I'll re-enable it again.

For the past two, I have been generating many Computation Errors. Additional, I get the message that the program cannot reach you and the internet connection is ok. The last failed connection was at 10:03 PM EDT. I am running Bonic Manager 7.2.42 (x64) on Windows 7 (x64).

The system is clearly out of order, but this doesn't appear to be the place to discuss it...

You may want to keep an eye on the Problems and Technical Issues with Rosetta@home thread. Several users have reported the same problem there and one of the project team members has replied to say they are investigating.
