Hello admins, 3 Of my WU's are 2 days triing to upload no joy. A new WU ran just fine and uploaded smooth to srv5. The ones don't try srv4. Can you please look at this so I can send my WU's in and turn the pc down? Thanks. Greetings, TJ. |

Eventually I did a detach and reatach to Rosetta, so I get all new information and files. That seems to work for a while. However I have again 2 new WU's that won't upload. That is no joy. I won't wait for them as I want to power the pc down. I will delete them and stop for asking new Rosetta work until this is solved. Greetings, TJ. |

I am having trouble uploading, too. It keeps stopping at 16KB completed and never goes past that. I hope it gets resolved soon. Seems like it's not my machine, which is a relief! |

My three files on one pc finaly uploaded and are reported. On the other machine, where I installed a new version of BOINC and did a detach and reatach to rosie got new tasks, but they didn't upload for almost 3 days. Eventually they did, but know for 4 days they don't report. This machine is also not getting new work from rosie, from other project it does without problems. So the pc, the network and BOINC is working. What is wrong with Rosetta, don't they want me crunching for them? Greetings, TJ. |

TJ, it sounds like you are attached to more than one project. The BOINC Manager attempts to minimize the number of contacts to each project and only hit the scheduler when it needs to. It sounds like BOINC has decided that if it waits a little while to report those tasks, that it might be able to combine a request for new work with the reporting of the completed work. ...but that it doesn't currently need any new Rosetta work to meet the resource shares and time debts between projects that it sees on your machine. So it's normal, and BOINC will report the tasks later automatically. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

It is absolutely not normal that ready tasks are three days not reported to any project. And with this particular system I am not crunching any project at the moment as I want get rid of these rosie tasks. However the deadline has passed so sending them in is no longer of any use. So I will detach to get rid of them. Greetings, TJ. |
