Okay, I think I fixed this. It was totally my fault and I'm sorry. After looking into this issue, I realized that the scheduler binaries (which I had to recompile after the crash) was not from the same source as before the crash. I updated the binaries and they should now recognize the "alt_platform". Thanks for all your input on this issue.
Thanks, just forced the Update in BOINC on my Mac and those 10 jobs that failed to report for more than a week finally went through and also seem to have been credited...
