I went on vacation for 2 weeks and turned my machine off. Upon return, I aborted 5 overdue WUs that had 8+ hours of computation on them.

There should be a vacation/ hibernation function to finish the current WUs without downloading new ones. I suggest a check box "do not download new work" in the Bionic preferences network tab.

The function is available, it is called "no new tasks" on the projects tab. You would have to set this for each project your machine is attached to.
