Hello, A few months ago I got a lot of validation errors, and stopped R@H for a while. Yesterday I run it again for a day and got a lot of validated jobs, but also 3 errors. Information shows: "Validate error The task was reported but could not be validated, typically because the output files were lost on the server." To me this means that the project server is loosing my jobs. That is a pitty and therefore I stop again with crunching for R@H as there are many more projects to choose from. R@H is the only resulting in error on several pc's of mine with various OS and BOINC versions. Greetings, TJ. |

That sounds like another unfortunate wording inherited from BOINC. The servers haven't been losing files. So, it most likely means that the client application did not produce, or did not get sent back a result file. Please post links to the results in question in the "Problems with..." thread for the release shown on the tasks on the Number Crunching board. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
