Outage Notice: the project will be down for maintenance starting at 2:00 PST today. We will be upgrading the database server which may take a few hours. i just wanted to ask for a little bit more detailled description of "upgrading", what does it exactly mean? |

Wasn't there some report of not running the latest server software version. Is that sorted out now too, or was it just hardware? |

Looks like the server status page was updated with the specs of the new server. Dell 2950, dual-quad 2GB Xeon E5405 w/ 6MB cache 32 GB RAM mirrored root raid, running 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5 (64 bit) the database files are written to a hardware mirror of two 15K 300GB disks dual GB NIC The specs of the old server are here Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
