I am back on Rosetta, I putted some serious processing power, 2 Skulltrails running at 4.0Ghz. now, I see that my computers are reporting a lot of bad units, and I can see my rendering mates reporting the same issues on the same units ... Is there a problem with the units? (sorry if somebody already answered this) who? |

Welcome back. I realize your hosts may be hidden for a reason. But it would help to answer your question if you could report the: BOINC version, OS version/type, Rosetta application name and version, the reported errors or exit codes of the failing results Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

I am back on Rosetta, I putted some serious processing power, 2 Skulltrails running at 4.0Ghz. Hi who? I've found that there seem to be the occasional 'series' of bad minirosetta tasks, and then it'll run for a few days fine, and then hit a few errors in series again. The guys are rapidly coding so it's to be expected i guess, at least until CASP8 is over. So when are you going to drop a nehalem on Rosetta? ;) P.S. ModSense - Who? has unhidden his comps if it helps. |

Reviewing the tasks, it looks like they all failed upon startup under Rosetta mini 1.25, and failed with: ERROR: in::file::zip minirosetta_database_rev21566.zip does not exist! ERROR:: Exit from: ....srcappspublicboincminirosetta.cc line: 91 running on Win Vista with BOINC 6.1.0. This looks like the same problem that others have seen under Rosetta mini. See the mini 1.25 thread Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

These WUs seem to be old ones that have been resent. I think they are automatically resent requesting the latest version of miniroseta, but the WU itself specifies which database file to put in the slot directory, and it still specifies an old one rather than the one miniroseta 1.25 needs. |

So when are you going to drop a nehalem on Rosetta? ;) i realise that you're not really being serious about this, but the answer is not soon. |

So when are you going to drop a nehalem on Rosetta? ;) This is true, we got a wait a little... :) Francois |
