More good news for diabetics! Hopefully all this leads to treatments that actually slow or stop the spread of this disabling disease! One thing that would help alot though is consistent info coming from ones Doctors. Lots of advances in this area is leading to many Doctors that are being left behind. Mine for instance has no idea about any of this and since they don't get the internet at work, I keep taking her printouts that she doesn't read.

Diabetes research seems to be heading towards a cure, although the timing may not be as close as some of us would like it to be.

I would bet the line would be long looking for volunteers to test this!

And I do wish the Government would look into funding some of this research. It would make sense to spend a little money now to save alot later on! Kind of like stopping smoking prevents the related hospital costs later on.
