Need some advice. Will shutoff my 4 boxes for vacation. Shall I Reset project before I turn off computers. Thanks. joseps:) I turned off my 5computers when I went on vacation. When I return today, I can not upload work. Need work units to run computers. joseps |

I'd suggest instead that you go to the projects tab and select "no new work" for each project. Do this in advance of your vacation so that you have time to complete all the work you already have downloaded and get it reported back. Then when you turn the machine back on, just allow new work again and BOINC will download new work and continue on. No reset is needed. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
