i usually have 1 or 2 wu's per project queued up at any given time. all of a sudden, i now have 20 some-odd wu's queued up for Rosetta, and another 80 for ABC. no, i didn't change any settings. noticed the following in boinc manager (yes, i know abc & malaria are also included): (anyone?) 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|ABC@home|Task abc_wu_266111510000_300000_1 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|ABC@home|If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM||Rescheduling CPU: application exited 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|rosetta@home|Task 1louA_BOINC_VANILLA_ABRELAX_SAVE_ALL_OUT-1louA-frags83__1729_112_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|rosetta@home|If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM||Rescheduling CPU: application exited 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|malariacontrol.net beta|Task wu_12_301_42301_0_429457325_2 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|malariacontrol.net beta|If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM||Rescheduling CPU: application exited 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|rosetta@home|Restarting task 1louA_BOINC_VANILLA_ABRELAX_SAVE_ALL_OUT-1louA-frags83__1729_112_0 using rosetta version 564 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|ABC@home|Sending scheduler request to http://abcathome.com/abc_cgi/cgi 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|ABC@home|Reason: To fetch work 5/14/2007 10:37:09 AM|ABC@home|Requesting 3642185 seconds of new work 5/14/2007 10:37:15 AM|ABC@home|Scheduler request succeed |

well, rather than Abort everything, just gonna switch my Rosetta WU preference from 6 hours to 1 hour, to clear out the 20 WU's, and then it will crunch ABC exclusively until I either finish the 80 WU's or they approach the deadline, when I will then Abort them. Very strange, never saw anything like it. Some sort of compter hiccup somewhere. |
