Hi there I lost my internet for 4 weeks and now I have no work coming through. To be honest I dont feel the internet connection is repaired fully yet. How can I get my Rosetta working properly again. I tend to run my computer for roughly 14 to 15 hrs daily. I have 3 other work units on the go along with this one. Any suggestions please. Thanks. Eric |

If BOINC hasn't been running for a while, it learns that it only runs for a fraction of the PC's power on time. It tries to only request the amount of work it expects to be able to finish. So it may presently be underestimating how much work you will get done in a day. You have 3 work units? So, once you complete them, BOINC will request more. If these tasks are for other projects, BOINC is planning to spend time working on the other projects for a while before returning to Rosetta. Give it a few days to get used to having internet access again and then things will return to normal. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

Thanks for the reply.... |
