Hi all: Thanks for your comments -- and sorry for being out of touch. We're a bit understaffed at the moment. Let me take a look at the "check skipped" issue. I'll be getting back in the loop this weekend, after our next round of papers is finalized -- also, I've just set up checkpointing for the other long Rosetta mode (fold and dock), so that will probably help reduce any remaining error! Sees that Rosie staff do not look at this forum very often so has to be patient! |

So...are you saying that fold and dock hasn't had any checkpointing up until now? No wonder I kept on thinking it was skipping a checkpoint! That's because I kept on getting fold-and-dock workunits. |

All types of tasks write their results at the end of a model. The fold and dock tasks typically take more time to complete a model. What most people were observing was the error in calculcating % complete when restarting a task. The new version (5.62) corrects the % complete calculation, and allows more types of tasks to checkpoint in mid-model. Being able to checkpoint in mid-model is especially important for tasks with a long runtime per model completed, such as many of the fold and dock tasks. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |
