I have 2 machines. One is working fine. The otherone gives a connection error.

The one who's working runs on Ubuntu (one CPU). The one who's not working runs on Windows (One CPU HT).

What could be wrong? When i restart Boinc it's working agaiin for a couple of hours.

Try rebooting your computer. I had a friend with a similar problem and it took a good old-fashioned reboot.
