I'm sorry for asking this cause it's most likely somewhere in the FAQ but i have been searching the site for 30 minutes now and cant find anything. So here we go :

How can i configure wich of my preference sets (home, work or school) my computer should use? I raed that the one last changed is used if there's more than 1, but that is a rather bad idea for one of my two machines...

I'm running the linux command line client and i don't have X11 installed so I cannot use the boinc-manager.

Click the Participants link at the top of the message board page you are viewing now.
Click on the link for computers on this account.
Select the one you desire to designate as being at a different location.
Way down at the bottom of the screen is a list box where you can designate the location.
Update to the project for the change to take effect.
