Geoff, I don't see any failed tasks left in the list for your host. Is there another host somewhere that has some failures? Or what sort of hang ups have you been seeing? And with which Rosetta versions? Do you run the screensaver?

I bet he means the % bar doesn't progress normally like with SETI, so it appears to be "hung up."

Perhaps. But he pretty specifically says that recent versions are behaving differently.

Geoff, if you are looking at the progress percentage, it will advance in large steps. It is really just recomputed at the end of a model. More details in this QA item.

I'm guessing he is running the screensaver. For some people, there are currently some problems when running the screensaver. We've been discussing it here. Please help by posting details of your observations there. It seems that setting Windows screensaver to (None) avoids the problems for now. They are working on it, but haven't pinned down the problem just yet.

The screensaver function is great for graphical purposes, but frankly, I would reccomend that everyone just stop using it. If my admittedly bad memory serves me correctly, the screensaver function has had many problems from the beginning. It seems they are constantly trying to deal with this issue. Is my memory bad or something?
