Please help. Does the indicated diagram ever change in the Native section of the screen? I mean the indicator changes always on the "Searching All Atoms", "Accepted", and "Low Energy" indicators. But does it ever change on the "Native" indicator? |

Hi Omar, no, it does not. The reason is quite simple: "Native" means the true, experimentally determined shape of the protein. In other words it is the blueprint that Rosetta is compared against when its accuracy is judged. [Of course that is also within the limits of experimental error, which largely depends on the size of the protein and the method(s) used to determine its structure.] Regards, Christoph [edited for spelling] |
