BOINC thinks it only has 100.0 MB available for use. One of the 3 disk space preferences is too limiting. OK, I'm uninstalling. Thought this would be nice and fast like the SETI one always was, but way to high-maintenance. Thx anyway all... |

I must say that I did not even get that far. My BOINC Manager will not connect to the Rosetta server and so I assume this is why I cannot get my first unit. I have been using Seti on BOINC for a couple of weeks now. Was a classic user and never had issues there either. When I try to add Rosetta to the BOINC projects list, I get: Error caption reads "Failed to attach to Account Manager" and "An error has occurred, please check the messages tab for further details". Messages tab says "Account Manager error: HTTP file not found". Using the following as prescribed on the Rosetta@Home page: https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta Any advice? |

You are trying to attach to an account manager, do you use one, (e.e. BAM, GridRepublic ?) I'm assuming not. But you should be trying to attach to a project (Advanced -> Attach to Project) Team mauisun.org |
