I have two 24 core Xeon machines (identical apart from a slightly different revision of motherboard, and more RAM): 1) 32GB RAM, 10.4GB used, running 24 Rosetta 4.2 tasks. 2) 40GB RAM, 7.5GB used, running 12 Rosetta 4.2 tasks. Why is computer 2 not asking for more? It's behaving as though I'd set it to use 50% of processors, but it's on 100%. When I update the project it says "not requesting tasks, don't need". |

Nevermind, I found it by looking at the log when I started the machine. For some reason a long time ago I'd set Rosetta to have 12 concurrent tasks in Rosetta's config. I do wish Boinc wasn't so complicated. 50 places to enter options, all conflicting with each other. Somebody please write a nice GUI to bring everything together! |

Be patient. Rosetta 4.2 is just 1 magnitude away from the perfect solution. |

Be patient.For once this isn't Rosetta's fault! |
