Team:

My system is not fetching work units. Any ideas? I did click the button for no new work units because of some issues but reset the project. After reset, I received 1 WU and it completed and validated. I welcome your assistance. Thx!

Paul

They ran out a couple of days ago. Look at the server status page, or even better at the home page where it shows the "Total queued jobs: 0"

Just picked up some new work. gb10_3CL_3CL_AVLstub_reversed_
More than half of them errored out in seconds. Something like a 60% or higher error rate.

At least they error quickly! Most of mine died in the first 10 seconds.
Thx!

I've not been getting any new work units on my Android device for 2 weeks now. Any ideas? Tried resetting the project, deattaching and reattaching.

With your system hidden it's pretty much impossible to guess.
There has been work available for the last few days (although we'll be out of work in the next 24hrs unless another large batch is loaded up before then).

BOINC Manager, Advanced view, Options, Event log options, select Work_fetch_debug. Exit BOINC, restart & see what messages come up.

And we're out of work again, so there's no chance of you getting any even if there weren't some issue with your setup.

Add TN-Grid alongside (as I have done) but why switch and stop Rosetta?

There are bits and pieces coming through, but not at a rate that comes close to demand.
We've been fortunate to have those 20 million tasks in April to keep us going until recently, but we're hand-to-mouth atm.
Back-up projects getting a healthy run while we wait

Usually, the "no-wus status" is, at minimum, from 4 days.
I'll return when wus are on the road....

Added SiDock as a backup.
Any particular reason to add TN grid specifically?
thanks

Good!

Any particular reason to add TN grid specifically?

- consistent and stable queue of wus
- optimized app (sse3/avx)
- admins on forum
- i'm italian and it's an italian project :-P

What I don’t understand is why you stop the project for the interim rather than just leave it be.

It’s doing no harm sitting there waiting for more work to turn up.

Well, added this project and set Sidock to no new tasks, for the time being.
Much shorter runtimes for when this project gets new work, and I can actually put that avx and FMA to use instead of just wondering if it is.

I stop the download of the R@H work 'cause i don't like to have mixed different project wu's on my pc.
So i'm crunching other projects until Rosetta's return

Ah, I understand although I find that a mixture of projects is more efficient than filling all cores with the same type of WU.

Unless we get another batch of work loaded up, we should be out of work again in a few hours- Total queued jobs: 54,614.
