Other BOINC's allow users to limit the number of WUs downloaded and I was wondering if there was a similar facility for R@H. I am downloading too many to be able to complete and it will just lead to WU's being downloaded and then failed when I can't complete them. Thank you |

R@h has a WU runtime preference setting available. It takes BOINC Manager a few WUs to figure out how long they tend to run. I builds up an adjustment factor, which is later used for future requests for work. In general, I suggest people ratchet up the runtime preference only a bit each day. This gives BOINC Manager time to adjust. Rosetta Moderator: Mod.Sense |

You may also verify in your options, the "preferences" menu. You can set a minimal amount of downloaded work. In the sense it will download at least work for the set time. If the value is too high, it will always download too much work. Setting a lower value is not a guarantee it will download little work though. |
