Almost every Rosetta@Home job has completed in approximately 4 hours. I now have a process that has run for 50 minutes of cpu time and refuses to move beyond 1% progress. It now shows a completion time of 83 hours and continues to climb. The process name is 1btn__abrelax_25462_0. I suspended the process for now; should I abort it? I've found that some WUs take a *long* time, i'd recommend just leaving it run, because it will miss the deadline if you don't process it, so you might as well give it a go, and assuming you're using the latest BOINC core client (4.45) it'll process only that WU when it works out you're getting close to the deadline, so crunch on, you've got a fast PC so it shouldn't be a problem if BOINC has enough time to crunch (and your preferences allow it) Lee |
