Screen Saver Freezing

I can get it to go completely black, but not back to normal. For last week or two I have come after 8-10 hours away to find PC like this. I suspect it could be a conflict with your grafics card. The best advice I have would be to suggest you repost your question on the number crunching forum and see if others have had this same issue and could offer suggestions.
