Just had Acronis Active Protection report rosetta_4.20_windows_x86_64.exe and several related files as "Possible ransomware". Anyone else see this?

It happens with all av occasionally due to the nature of Boinc. Easiest solution is to whitelist the Boinc directories.

an ass vs an ass. But both have a hole.

One has more holes.

But what's funnier is you refer to entire people as ass - even when not being rude. For example "get your ass over here". <<---That is in fun or meant as a harsh way of saying hurry up.
What about the rest of them? Yes ok, Americans are mainly ass because they eat so much.
<-- fat cows and lard belly's as well.

No...I was just calling you an ass. :)

Showing 327,506 now. My previous 147 pending validations are now down to just 7

Something else worthy of comment. The errors in my task history are zero. Hasn't been that low since pre-Python days

Sounds like worthwhile work though, I do it from time to time. Anyone wanting to try it, limit multicore tasks to 6 cores each or they go wrong. And do the VB tasks, they're far more efficient, you'll get more credits and do more good.

Workunits waiting for validation 0

Not just that, an extra 1.5m tasks added to total queued jobs.
My RAC for Rosetta was just short of 8k before the validation issues, dropped to just over 5k the day before yesterday and now is at 19.6k
Part of the reason for that is my credits per 8hr task seem to have nearly doubled for the current work. That's a hefty bonus

Odd, they WERE having trouble, but not that trouble. The account home page was missing, we had to use saved links. But now it all works fine. Where are you trying to get to?
